On April 24 at 4 p.m. there will be a presentation of solo exhibition «Baltyisk» by Anastasya Khoroshilova within the framework of the Baltic Biennale of Photography Photomania-2009 at the Kaliningrad Art Gallery. The audience got an opportunity to see the 14 photos made by the author during her visit to Baltyisk in 2005. Anastasia tried to approach the unique atmosphere of this city, that mixture of history, the army and everyday life and to explain it in visual terms.

On April 14, 2009 at 6.30 p.m. a meeting with an artist from Berlin Shahram Entekhabi was held in the lecture hall of the Art Gallery in the framework of the education program of the Kaliningrad Branch of NCCA.

On June 17, 2009 in the conference hall of the A.P.Tchekhov library a meeting with the director of the Laura Palmer Foundation Joanna Warsza  (Warsaw, Poland) was held in the framework of the educational program of the Kaliningrad Branch of NCCA.

On January 28, 2009 a lecture and screening performance of the artist Romana Schmalisch  (Berlin,Germany) was held in the lecturing hall of the Kaliningrad Art Gallery.

The Russian Red exhibition project by Yury Vassiliev was presented in the [ON] gallery in Poznan  (Poland) on the 17th of April 2009. The exhibition was organized by the Kaliningrad Branch of NCCA and the Poznan Academy of Fine Arts. Project curator – Evgeny Umansky. Co-curators – Agata Rogoś and Krzysztof Łukomski  (the OBScurators association).
