Starting February 2010 at the «KVARTIRA» ( «FLAT») club in the frames of the educational program the Kaliningrad branch of the NCCA carries out the project, entitled «Artificial class: Stories about contemporary art and artistic experiments for children and parents».
Joining the first «Artificial class», children and their parents will listen to short and long stories about what a museum is and who an artist is, how to «read» a picture and how to create it, they also get acquainted with the brightest representatives of contemporary art and its trends:
Willem de Kooning (abstract expressionism: action art, dripping, color-field painting) Alexander Calder (kinetic sculpture, stabile, abstraction) Dan Flavin (ABC art, installation) Andy Goldsworthy (land art, landscape painting, frottage) Yves Klein (monochrome, avant-garde, new realism) Wolfgang Laib (minimalism), etc.

The «Class» is meant for children from 7 years.
The lessons are for free. Parents provide children with materials necessary for the lesson.
Training will be in the 8 + 8 groups (child + mother/father) 2 times a month.
The lesson duration is about 2 hours (with breaks).
